How to Park a Domain Name

Parking your domain name:

Firstly you will need to access your cPanel backend.

  1. In the cPanel you will see the heading Domain section.
  2. Simply click on the Parked Domain icon.
  3. Click on Create a New Parked Domain. You will now need to provide the details of the domain to be parked. Enter the domain name in full minus the http and the www.
  4. Click Add Domain
  5. Arriving at a confirmation page the cPanel will let you know that your domain has been parked.

Not all web hosts allow domain parking without notifying them first so if you see an error message or it isn’t working as it should get in contact with your web host.
